Justice Gets A New Room

Recently my niece and nephews acquired new rooms. Well, they came with the new house. What this has to do with me is that these new rooms don't have much personality. So me being me, I told them I'd make them curtains. Which translates into I'll design their entire bedroom. Yep. That's how I roll...
This dresser will be getting a major make over. Someone is getting a lesson in organization too...

First up is Justice's bedroom. She is fourteen and ready for a more mature room but, not too mature. I've nearly gotten everything together, the sewing, the hammering, the crafting, the stapling and the gluing. There are a few more things to be finished. Then we will load up the truck and do the install. She wants a BAM! moment. She doesn't want me to put things into her room as they are completed. She wants to come home to a total make over. I get that. So she'll be getting that.
This plastic thing is going. We are building storage.

This bed is out! We are building a new one.

The real catch? The budget is this small. Yep! I'm doing both rooms on a teeny tiny budget. I'll be breaking the cost down as I go. My thoughts on this are that you can find beautiful inexpensive things just as easily as you can find costly things. What I didn't buy I made, with some help from my father and mother. Who are both very creative as well. She is their granddaughter after all...

Due to the lack of budget this stays. I know! My heart is broken too!

Like I said above I have most of it ready. I failed at photographing all the steps in some of the projects. I am very new to this blogging thing. So I'll try to do better in the future. I'll post the elements going into the room and how they were achieved. Once the room install is done I'll post all the pictures. Can't wait!
